Overview
This Design Thinking Process template is a structured framework that helps guide teams and individuals through the stages of Design Thinking in a systematic and organized manner to improve User Experience. It serves as a visual representation of the process and helps facilitate collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.
Objective
The main purpose behind the development of this template was to tutor Software Engineering students in the intricacies of User Experience (UX). We made frequent use of this template in our classes to facilitate the redesign of various websites. This proved invaluable in helping students grasp the entire process and in aiding me to effectively communicate the necessary content.
Challenge
Our main obstacle was to streamline the entire UX process into the key components of Design Thinking within a limited time frame. This was crucial for orienting students towards the creation of user-centered interfaces and for making the content suitable for beginners in the field.
Solution
Through a thorough exploration of FigJam, we imparted knowledge about the UX process to students applying this template, and extending its utility to members of the Figma Community and prospective Software Engineering students.
